A burglary alarm turns up suspects in a Cole County school theft.
Cole County deputies responded to an alarm at a gun store on Route D, early Monday morning.

Police say they pulled over the vehicle and found evidence of the theft in the suspect's possession.  They also found evidence linked to a burglary at the Westview Baptist Church in Cole County.

This same vehicle was also identified in the theft at Eugene R-V School and the suspect matched the person on surveillance video taken from the school.

Detectives searched the suspect’s home in McGirk, MO and found evidence possibly linking the suspects to thefts and burglaries in Moniteau and Morgan counties.

Police from several counties were able to then identify the second suspect on the surveillance video from Eugene R-V School.

Police arrested 25-year old William Oberle; he is being held on $50,000 bond.

He is charged with 3 counts of 2nd degree burglary.

He may face more charges in Moniteau and Morgan counties.

Police say charges are still pending on the second suspect in the school burglary.

A second suspect in the church and gun store burglaries is at large and right now there is no further information on that person.
